1.1 Statement of Ownership

All text, images, charts, research reports, course materials, code samples, strategy descriptions, screenshots, design assets, logos, page templates, audio and video recordings, database content, user interface designs, documents, and other creative material that appears on arthasutra.site is the intellectual property of ArthaSutra operated by the partnership of Ajay Chaudhary and Nisha Chaudhary unless a clear, written statement on a specific page or asset indicates otherwise. The site is published in August 2025 and ArthaSutra reserves all rights in respect of works published from that date.

1.2 Trademark Usage

ArthaSutra is a trade name and the site uses the designation ArthaSutra as a trademark and service mark. At present, the trademark is used as a mark only and has not been registered. The partnership reserves the right to use the mark and to seek registration in the future. The mark must not be used by third parties in a way that creates confusion about the origin of goods or services or that suggests endorsement or sponsorship by ArthaSutra unless express written permission is provided.

2. Permitted Uses by the Public

2.1 Personal Reuse with Attribution

Subject to the conditions below, ArthaSutra grants visitors and members of the public a limited, non-exclusive right to reuse content for personal, non-commercial purposes provided that: the reuse is accompanied by clear attribution to ArthaSutra and a link to the original page on arthasutra.site where feasible; the content is not modified in a way that distorts the meaning; and the reuse is not framed to imply endorsement by or affiliation with ArthaSutra. No advance request for permission is required for this limited reuse.

2.2 Academic and Educational Use

Educational institutions and individual learners may reproduce and use ArthaSutra materials for teaching and study where the use is non-commercial and appropriate attribution is given. When distributing content in a classroom or study group, please state clearly that the material originated on arthasutra.site and name the authors if they are identified on the source page.

2.3 Prohibited Uses

The following uses are not permitted without express written permission from ArthaSutra:

  1. Use in commercial products or services that charge for access to the material
  2. Bulk redistribution or republication of entire works without substantial added value or commentary
  3. Use that modifies or misrepresents the content in a way that could mislead or confuse readers about the original meaning
  4. Use that implies direct endorsement by ArthaSutra of a product, service or commercial entity
  5. Use of the ArthaSutra mark in a way likely to cause confusion about sponsorship or origin

To request permission for uses that fall outside the permitted categories, please follow the procedure in section 6.

3. Guest Contributions and Content Partnerships

3.1 Acceptance and Review Process

ArthaSutra accepts content submissions and offers content partnership opportunities. All submissions must include verifiable identity details for the author or partner, including name, email address and a short biography. Submissions will be reviewed manually by the ArthaSutra team. Acceptance is discretionary and subject to editorial review, quality control and suitability for the ArthaSutra audience.

3.2 Contributor Warranties

By submitting content to ArthaSutra, a contributor warrants that the work is original, that the contributor has all necessary rights to submit the work, and that the work does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights or contain defamatory or unlawful material. Contributors must disclose if the submission contains third-party material and must provide evidence of permission or licensing for that material.

3.3 License Granted to ArthaSutra

Upon acceptance, contributors grant ArthaSutra a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to publish, reproduce, display, adapt, translate and distribute the contributed work on arthasutra.site and on associated channels such as related Telegram channels, email lists and social media accounts. ArthaSutra may edit or format contributions for clarity and consistency. Contributors remain free to republish their work elsewhere unless a different written agreement has been executed.

3.4 Contributor Credit and Corrections

Accepted contributions will be published with author credit and optionally with a short biography and links to the author profile. If a contributor requests a correction after publication, ArthaSutra will evaluate the request promptly and correct or clarify the material where appropriate.

3.5 Repeat Infringer Policy

ArthaSutra takes claims of infringement seriously. Users who repeatedly submit infringing content or who repeatedly upload content that violates intellectual property rights will have submission privileges revoked and may be blocked from participating in ArthaSutra channels.
