Refund Policy

Introduction
This Refund Policy explains the refund and cancellation rules that apply to purchases made from ArthaSutra operated by the partnership of Ajay Chaudhary and Nisha Chaudhary. ArthaSutra offers a mix of products and services including books, digital educational content, premium Telegram channels, strategy bot trials, development services, add-on strategy modules and bespoke software development for trading. The policy describes which purchases are eligible for refunds, the process to request a refund, the evidence required, timelines and the calculations used for partial refunds. The partnership reserves the right to update this Refund Policy from time to time and will publish the revised version with an updated effective date.
General Principles
- ArthaSutra does not seek to withhold refunds unfairly.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with this policy and applicable law.
- This policy governs purchases made by direct payment using UPI or bank transfer since ArthaSutra does not operate an on-site payment gateway.
- All requests for refunds must be sent to support@arthasutra.site or to the grievance address ajay@arthasutra.site for escalation.
- Proof of payment such as transaction identification number, screenshot of payment confirmation and a short explanation of the reason for the request will normally be required.
Books and Written Products
- Books sold through ArthaSutra are treated as delivered digital goods.
- Delivery of a purchased book occurs within one hour of confirmed payment unless a specific separate delivery timeline has been agreed in writing.
- If a buyer requests cancellation prior to the delivery event and within one hour of payment, ArthaSutra will process a full refund provided the buyer presents sufficient proof of purchase and identity and provided the refund request is received before the book is delivered.
- Once the book is delivered to the buyer, no refund will be issued under normal circumstances except in cases of duplicate payment or manifest error verified by ArthaSutra.
- For duplicate or mistaken payments relating to books, ArthaSutra will process a full refund if notified within forty-eight hours of payment and upon presentation of proof of duplicate payment.
Services and Software Development Projects
- Services include but are not limited to strategy bot trials, development of algorithmic trading bots, add-on strategies, project reports, submission checks and mentoring or consultancy delivered outside the website via Telegram, email or direct communication.
- Many services involve staged work or bespoke development with a timeline agreed between the parties. Where a project has an agreed duration, the refund amount on cancellation before final delivery will be calculated on a time-elapsed basis as set out in the partial refund calculation section below.
- Unless otherwise agreed in writing, ArthaSutra retains discretion to assess and confirm completion levels and to allocate refund amounts accordingly. ArthaSutra strives to be fair and transparent in these assessments.
Partial Refund Calculation for Development Work
- Where the parties have agreed a total project duration measured in days, then the refund on cancellation will be calculated by reference to the number of days that have elapsed since the project commenced.
- Formula: Refund percentage = (1 - days elapsed ÷ total project days). The refund amount to the client equals the payment multiplied by the refund percentage.
- Example 1: For a project with a total duration of thirty days, a refund requested on day fifteen will result in a refund equal to fifty percent of the original payment.
- Example 2: For a project with a total duration of thirty days, a refund requested on day ten will result in a refund equal to sixty-six point six seven percent of the original payment.
- ArthaSutra may in its sole discretion adjust the refund amount to take account of actual work performed, direct costs and non-recoverable expenses.
Mistaken or Duplicate Payments
- ArthaSutra recognizes that clients may occasionally make mistakes when transferring funds. For mistaken or duplicate payments, ArthaSutra will initiate a full refund where the request is submitted within forty-eight hours of the transaction and supported by satisfactory evidence such as transaction identifiers and screenshots.
- Refunds for mistaken or duplicate payments will be processed promptly after verification and approval subject to the banking channels involved. ArthaSutra aims to complete refund processing within twenty-four to forty-eight hours from approval but cannot guarantee the time taken by banking systems for the funds to appear in the payer account.
Non-Refundable Items Summary
- Books are non-refundable after delivery.
- Educational content that is delivered immediately and in full at the time of purchase is ordinarily non-refundable subject to exceptional circumstances and the partnership's discretion.
- Services and software projects are eligible for partial refund under the time-elapsed formula unless a specific alternative arrangement was agreed in writing.
Processing of Refunds
- All refunds are subject to verification and approval by ArthaSutra. ArthaSutra will aim to complete verification and to notify the buyer of the outcome within twenty-four to forty-eight hours of receiving all required evidence.
- Approved refunds will be processed promptly. ArthaSutra will refund by the same mechanism used to receive payment where practicable subject to the capabilities of the payer and banking systems.
- ArthaSutra is not responsible for banking delays or fees levied by intermediaries which may affect the timing of funds appearing in the payer account.
